Feed and discharge channels: There are through holes on the corners of the filter plate, which form a complete channel after assembly, allowing for the entry of suspension, washing water, and the extraction of filtrate. There will also be holes drilled at the bottom of the filter plate for the discharge of filtrate.

Providing filtration space: The filter plate and filter cloth together form a filtration system, with the filter plate providing support for the filter cloth, increasing the wall area of the filter chamber, and thus increasing the filtration area of the filter cloth attached to the filter plate, achieving efficient filtration.

Realize solid-liquid separation: The feed pump injects suspended hydraulic pressure into the filter chamber composed of filter plates and filter frames. Solid particles are intercepted by the filter cloth to form a filter cake, and the filtrate passes through the filter cloth and flows along the groove of the filter plate to the corner channel for discharge, completing solid-liquid separation.

Auxiliary filter cake processing: Some filter plates can achieve the functions of washing and drying the filter cake. The filter plates of washable filter presses can be divided into perforated filter plates and non perforated filter plates, which can be combined to achieve unidirectional or bidirectional washing; Introducing compressed air can further remove residual moisture from the filter cake.

Operation and maintenance

Replacement precautions: When replacing the filter plate, avoid impact to prevent damage. When the filter plate is damaged, it should be replaced in a timely manner to prevent damage to other filter plates.

Daily maintenance: Regularly clean and lubricate the filter plate, remove impurities from the surface of the filter plate, check the integrity of components such as the filter plate, filter cloth, hydraulic station, and outlet valve to ensure safe and reliable operation of the equipment.
